Perhaps the biggest thing I could take from this book is the rawness of a relationship with Christ. In this day and age we try to come up with some new formula or new program when we just need to get back to getting with Christ PERIOD.
Either you want it or you don't ... I can't candy coat what Jesus wants and I can't make it make you feel good sometimes, because to follow Christ takes a true man or woman. You have to be ready to lose friends and family; it isn't a fast food restuarant that flame broils but it is Jesus pure and simple.
The Christian walk isn't hard, you just have to know who is doing the leading.
This is a manifesto. It's a call to action. It's a call to a way of life. Stop trying to figure it out because it isn't logical to let go of what you want. Than again it really isn't logical for us aliens to live in a world where we don't belong.
